RESEARCH OF INTEGRATED LIGHTING SYSTEMS FOR HUMAN ACTIVITIES DURING THE DAY USING SIMULATION MODELS

The object of the research is an integrated lighting system for daytime activities and processes that affect the lighting, colorimetric and circadian parameters of the system and its energy efficiency. The studies were carried out in a test room using simulation models to obtain information about the changes in vertical and horizontal illuminance, correlated color temperature and color rendering quality of the lighting environment of the illuminated room, circadian and energy efficiency of light under daylight, LED and mixed lighting. Daylight is a significant factor in increasing the energy efficiency and quality of integrated lighting for daytime activities. However, the level of illuminance created by daylight changes over time and cannot provide the recommendations of the international standard ISO/CIE 8995-1:2025 during the established period. Therefore, the integrated lighting system should have a combination of daylight and electric lighting. LED sources of electric lighting are the most effective for this. The study presents data on the circadian efficiency of lighting (melanopic illuminance) depending on the parameters of daylight and LED light, the impact of daylight on the quality of color rendering of the lighting environment, estimated according to the ANSI/IES TM-30-18 standard by two indices: Rf – color rendering accuracy and Rg – degree of color saturation under mixed (daylight and electric) lighting. Conclusions and recommendations are made regarding increasing the efficiency of integrated lighting systems for daytime human activities.
